As Carmelite contemplatives we believe in the experience of living in Christ with God even in this life; we believe that God wants to lavish us with his love and bring us into the infinite realm of the Father’s bliss. But, Fr. Eric warns, we need the skill of acting without satisfying feelings. The morning star will rise in our hearts.
