Out of 19th century not-so-healthy spirituality strides a saint who suffered so many of the psychological afflictions we have learned to name, plus physically poor health. His life and writings tell us how to rise above the most anxious of times, and how to rise up after one has fallen.  Francis Libermann became a founder of a missionary order after a host of obstacles we both can and can’t identify with.  Sr. Ceil gives us encouragement for how to pursue this business of perfection in so many practical ways.
